Welcome to Sun Valley Baptist’s website. Our intent here is to give you a brief summary into life at Sun Valley; but nothing takes the place of a personal visit to our church. We look forward to seeing you join us in one of our services. If you have other questions, please call and let one of us answer them.

Sun Valley was founded in 1960 on Sun Valley Street (hence its name) and is affiliated with Baptist Bible Fellowship International. We are also the home of Northeast Christian Academy (N.E.C.A), a Kindergarten 3 through 12^th Grade Christian School with high academics. NECA was founded in 1977 and has been going strong since that time with graduates in every walk of life. We are an Independent Baptist church and believe the church is here to win people to Christ and then to disciple them to grow in their spiritual walk.

Sunday school is divided by age level. We have an adult Sunday school class as well as children and teen classes. We plan to start AWANA again on Wednesday evenings which is for children K-5 through 6th grade.

We have an adult Bible study on Wednesday night. We also do Upward programs in soccer and basketball, in the fall and spring on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We will publish the dates as these programs begin.

There are currently 100 students in the school and growing. NECA is K-3 through 12th grade. We maintain a closed campus and have a large playground as well as a gym. Our graduates are highly successful in a varied number of fields to include Missionaries, Engineers and Military Officers.

We plan mission trips during the year, an annual men’s retreat, and other activities and fellowships to enhance Christian growth. We place a strong emphasis on missions and presently are supporting over 44 missionaries and mission projects around the world. We have an active Ladies Ministry which is involved in various ministries and activities as well.
